Thanks for the query
You should have mentioned the age of your baby. It seems he is suffering from viral gastroenteritis. You are giving him ORS and rice starch water its very good. In diarrhea strictly say no to any type of juice, diet with high sugar, dairy products (milk), high fiber diet, carbonated drink, spicy and oily food. All these causes disturbance in absorption in already compromised gut. You can give him rice, smashed potato, banana, curd, rice moong dal gruel, suji's preparation etc. You give him Syp. Zinc 5 ml daily for 15 days, Enterogermina respule One such daily for 3 days.
What you need to look for is a gross change in consistency, whether any decreased feeding is there due to lethargy, decreased urinary frequency , poor weight gain, having temperature, blood mixed stool or any other obvious symptoms are there. If there is nothing like this then you should not worry. If you notice any one of these then consult your doctor immediately.
So, I would suggest you to ensure adequate hydration of baby by frequent feed, continue ORS sips and be watchful for danger signs.
I hope this answers your query well
Wish you and your family good health

Hi, Nishauck,
Thanks for query.
It seems that your baby is suffering from acute gastro enteritis and requires an antibiotic medicine.
To prevent dehydration give plenty of water, electrolytes, lime water water or juice.
Continue giving apple juice and give pomegranate juice as well.
Ok and bye.
