Small child, suffered a fall, bleeding from lips, redness on head. Medical attention required?

My 11 month boy was in his walker and he fell off the stairs (about 15 stairs). He fell with this face down. He was bleeding from his lip. But it is stopped within few min. He cried a lot for little while then he soothed down and drank a bottle of milk. He is acting fine and behaving normal. We checked his head and has little red area but nothing bulging out. Should we take him to ER?

Thanks for your query
Relax,it is very good that your baby is active .
I suggest you to apply cold compresses over injured area,give paracetamol for pain relief and monitor him for any warning signals for at least 24 hours like;
abnormal behavior,vomiting,any bleeding from ear or nose,any abnormal activity and in case you find any i advise you to take him to ER.

Wishing your baby good health
God bless

Thank you for your query,
As your child is acting fine, behaving normal and there is no further bleeding from lips , nothing to worry.
But if you find any abnormal symptoms please report immediately to Emergency.
Consult your Pediatrician for oral examination to look for any mucosal injury and to assess the neurological system of your child.
Hope i have answered your query.
