Small Child, Loose Motions, Watery Stools On Urinating. Prescribed Symil MCT Milk Powder. Cure?

Hi, My 3 month old baby is suffering from loose motion, most of the times while urinating he passes some watery stool having some tomato seed type solid texture. I went to the doctor, she told to get the stool test done, the report was normal, she advised Symil MCT Milk powder, interogermania, and Zinconia Syp for five days. Even after these medicine the problem is still same. Due to frequent motions he got rashes on his back.

Hi

It can be a rotaviral diarrhea. This usually presents with fever, vomiting and watery stools.
It may last upto a week.
Be sure he drinks well so that he does not get dehydrated.

Continue with the medications.
You may try to give boiled rice water/ Boiled Dal water if he likes.

For the rashes- do not wipe the area hard, do not apply diapers, just mop the area gently with wet cloth after each loose stool. You may apply Siloderm ointment in that area.

If he does not drink/ he passes urine less than 4 to 5 times a day/ develops high grade fever do not hesitate to contact your doctor again.
