Small Child Having Abdominal Pain, White Foam Around Stools. Urine Analysis Normal. Causes?

daughter has complained of abdominal pain daily for 3 weeks, just noticed white fuzz around edges of stool . I took her pediatrician during first week of pain, urine analysis came back normal. Doctor told me she is just saying her belly hurts because (a) she wants children s pep to bismol because it tastes good or (b) any number of benign reasons-children frequently complain of non specific belly pain when other issues are the cause?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Thank you for your query,
As your child has been examined by the pediatrician and there is normal examination and results, nothing to worry.
Children will get nonspecific pain usually around the umbilicus and usually there is nothing abnormality on evaluation.
But if the pain is severe enough to wake her up from sleep, or associated with vomitings or loose motions then it will be significany.
Be in follow up with your Pediatrician.
Hope I have answered your query.

various associated complaints...........like blood or mucus in the stool or...........may be growth failure like failure to gain weight or height or......may be burning urination or burning sensation in the upper part of the abdomen etc will help in diagnosis
