hi my son 3 years 3 months old, he is affecting frequently cold and cough .. after doing blood test Ige is around 1127.. doctor prescribed montec lc Jr. for 2 months.. may i know it is for what and? is there any difficulties in this treatment?? please guide me for best results.. in reports : ESR is 27 IgE 1127.00 AEC 500 Mantoux Test 0 mm CBP normal (except Lymphocytes are 41

IGE is an indirect method of measuring allegy.People having high allergic level are prone to more attacks of cold and cough.Monteleukast if given for a long durations decreases this allergic tendency to some extent.There are no documented side effects of this drug.
