Hello,
Welcome to HealthcareMagic forum.
Please do not give omnacortil ( prednisone ) which is a steroid to your child without your doctors prescription. If your doctor has prescribed the dosage ( according to the child's weight) and only a conversion is required from drops to syrup then you may multiply the same by five to get the correct dosage . For eg if 0.5 ml of drops are prescribed then you can give 0.5 *5 = 2.5 ml of the syrup per dose.
Also I would recommend that if your child's symptoms do get relieved by inhaled steroids ( budesonide etc) then its much safer than oral steroids ( prednisolone ).
Hope I have answered your query.
Wishing your child a speedy recovery.
Regards
