Small Child, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Bloating, No Weight Gain. Cure For Symptoms?
my 23 months old male child has been having diarrhea and vomiting since 7days now he already lost 1lb and his belly appeared bigger than before he looks malnurished and bony i can count his ribs.His doctor didnt give any priscription. He started eating alot but no weight gain even before the diarrea and vomiting. He weighs 24lbs now

There is no reason to worry...but as a mother you may feel distressed...I empathize..
Diarrhoea usually does not warrant weight loss that too within 7 seven days....so don't worry.
He might have indigestion and flatulence from some time.
Give him a probiotic /yogurt everyday and provide him with home made nutritious food at regular intervals.
Though his weight is on the lowe side of normal but he should recover soon.Remember your child will only gain 1-2kg/year from now on.
