Slight Tingling In Vagina, Raw And Reddish Labia, Thin Discharge, Tried Flagy. What Could This Be ?

Hi 21 year old female. I have a slight tingling feeling in my vagina and when i open the labias it looks raw and reddish inside. Discharge is thin but the area seems more dry. No itching and no burning when i pee.I have been prone to get BV so i started on the flagy (refill) but its not helping. I havent had sex in about a week what could this be?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The reddish vulva and discharge that you described is likely to be due to bacterial vaginosis. You need to get the vaginal swab culture done to detect the causative organism so that proper antibiotic therapy can be started.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
