hi there, just had my cast taken ooff recently (5 days ago) and was just wondering as to how long I would have to wait before I could lift weights again? additional info -right broken neck of metarpal -severed from knuckle -doctor pushed/pulled it back into place -only painful/discomforting now(cast off) when I clench strong fist and hyper-extend my hand

This will take some time as full bone healing take place only after some time. After cast removal, hot water fomentation should be done and range of motion exercises should be started. Once you will get full range you can start picking weight also. Do not be in hurry.
