Sleeping pills of Ayurveda

sir, i a cardiac patient and using medicines regularly since 2004 and also having check up in allopathy every 3 months. continuing the same doctor. my eldest son-in-law is also an allopathic doctor. the doctors advised me to use sleeping tablet every day. since all these years i am using TRIKA 0.5 OR STRESSNIL 0.5. I WANT to discontinue the above sleeping pill and very much interested to use an ayurvedic medicine especially for sleeping. all the persons go to office in the day time and will come during night i will be along in the house. i am getting bore and also foregtting the nmes of persons also. i am aged 66 years. i therefore request to suggest a strong ayurvedic medicine of getting sleep during night. pl. suggest a company medicine. i cannot prepare any medicine by getting herbs. thank you for kindl help.

since you are depending on sleeping pills you will take some time to get normal sleep with ayurveda medicines.Have one glass fa free warm milk at the time of your sleep.Go to sleep when you really feel sleepy.Also use oil on head having cold potency like Chandanadi taila ,which will help you have good sleep

your strange sleep disorder is a severe type of sleep paralysis that requires more medical observation and the best and fastest way to deal with it, is to relax yourself and control your breath and slowly move toes, fingers, or any part that u feel u have sort of control of, i have been getting the same symptoms for the past 6 months since i was put on baclofen medication to treat my spasms. organize your sleep hapit will help you, too. and good luck

**This condition can be treated using medicines like Jatamansi,Brahmi, Shankhpushpi, Sarpagandha,Khurasani Ova,Sutshekhar Rasa, Suvarna Sutshekhar Rasa, Kamdudha Rasa, Praval Bhasma and Mukta Bhasma.

this forum restrict us of prescribing medicines,,you can soak your foot in leukwarm water with pinch of salt for 15 minutes ,after that massage it with seasem oil,,give your self head massage,,in night have a cup of curd mixed with onion paste.this will surely help you ....consult doctor near you before taking any medicine....

I am in receipt of your query dated February 19, 2009 and thank you for your interest in Ayurvedic System of Medicine. I have noted that you are using allopathic medicines for sleeping which you want to replace with Ayurvedic Medicines. I hereby suggest the following medicines – S. No. Name of Medicine Usage 1. KACHORADI CHOORNAM Take 2 gm of Choornam and mix with oil to make paste. + arm the past and apply on top of the head for 1 hour 2. KSHEERABALA (101) before oing to sleep. After 1 hour wipe off the paste and rub a pinch of Choornam on top of head. 3. KSHEERABALA (101) Warm the oil and massage beneath the feet and palm for 10 to 20 minutes before sleep. Massage behind the ears also. 4. KSHEERABALA TAILAM Apply the Oil on head 30 minutes before bath. 5. MANASAMITRAM VATIKAM Take 1 vatikam at Bed Time with warm milk. All the above medicines should be used continuously for at least one months to get the result.
