Skin Rash, Itchy. Taking Medication, No Change. Treatment?
I am a 58 year old male, I weigh 150lbs. I have a skin rash which is extremely itchy. I have the rash on my arms, legs and trunk of my body mostly. I also have it near my ankles. I have been to the emergency room and also to a dermatologist. I havn't been diagnosed. They couldn't specifically say what I had. The first time they thought it was poison ivory, the second time a reaction to a medicine. I am taking cephalexin 500mg every 6 hours for 14 days. A substitute for Keflex. Also metronidazole 500mg every 8 hours for 14 days and cetirizine HCL 10 mg once a day. I have been taking these medications for 1 week and no change. Also Allergy relief tablets. PLEASE HELP.
