in the shower i discovered that the skin of my scrotum has swollen and red just like the one u got with mosquito bites.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello friend,

See, such kind of itch and redness on scrotum can be simply a type of eczema known as scrotal dermatitis.

Or it can be some infection like fungal infection or sec bacterial infection associated with dermatitis.

But , the treatment is entirely different for the conditions.

So, i would like you to consult your dermatologist so that he/she can visualize the condition and can guide you properly.

Thanx.

Get well soon.
