Sinus Arrhythmia, High Heart Rate. Results From Holter Monitor Showed Supraventricular Tachycardia. What Does This Denote?
Results from my 24 hour Holter Monitor findings were. This Patient was recorded for 23 hours 59 minutes. 109,425 QRS complexes were analyzed. The predominant underlying rhythm is a sinus mechanism. There are episodes of sinus arrhythmia. There are occasional SVPCs . There is not supraventricular tachycardia. There is no high grade AV block. There are no ventricular ectopics. Diary entries are associated with sinus rhythm. The average heart rate was 76 beats per minute. The heart rate ranged between 52 and 121 beats per minute..
The reason I was given this test because I have been having palpitations and anixiety but I just didn't under stand this finding..

Sinus arrhythmia and occasional SVPCs both findings are within normal limits.The points of time at which you marked some symptom or trouble is also associated with normal rhythm. Hence your symptoms on that day were not related to any rhythm disturbance of heart.
