Side Effects Of Dubagest 200

Hi, My LMP was Feb 24th and have tested positive. This is my second pregnancy and had an ectopic pregnancy last year. This time my Gynaec has advised me to take Dubagest 200 daily for a month. Would like to know if this harmonal tablet has any side effects?

Dubagest is the brand name of a hormonal medicine called progesterone. This product is indicated in women trying to conceive if there is proven, documented deficiency of the progesterone hormone (during luteal phase). Once conception has taken place, progesterone hormone is indicated only in pregnancies due to assisted reproductive techniques such as IVF, etc. or in cases of habitual abortion (repeated miscarriages)

overuse or misuse of this drug can cause
gastrointestinal disturbances, changes in appetite or weight, fluid retention, oedema, acne, chloasma (melasma), , urticaria, mental depression, breast changes including discomfort a, fatigue, drowsiness or insomnia, fever, headache,,. Alterations in the serum lipid profile may occur.
