Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... hi i was wondering i have 2 go in for a hysterectomy because off cervical cancer, i am a heavy smoker and trying to give up, is it important to give up before a hysterectomy?

If you are going for some major surgery in due course and have history of smoking then this need to be quit not because of surgery but for forever, this would be nice for the health, but prior to surgery you must stop this, hope this information would help you in taking decision, take care.
