Should One Get Tested For STD Immediately?

I apparently had sex last night while blacked out, but couldn't find any evidence that I used a condom. Considering that I'm taking immunosuppressants for Crohn's Disease, and therefore highly at risk for an STD, how long should I wait before I get tested?

thank you for query. The chances of transmission of HIV by sexual route is 1/ 200 to 1/2000 even if the partner is HIV infected.there are other STDs also. The symptoms of STD you can look for are any rash, vesicles, redness, in genitals, urethral discharge, itching or burning in area,Inguinal lymph node swellings etc.
If you have any symptoms you can consult doctor they will investigate you by local examination, urine or discharge sample lab examination, blood tests if required, biopsy if required etc.you can consult today itself then it will be followed up by your doctor depending on results and symptoms.
.You can get back for any clarifications with details.Dr Bharatesh D Basti Dermatologist and venereologist.
