Should Laparoscopy Be Performed To Block The Left Fallopian Tube?

Hi doc my left fallopian tube is blocked due to endometriosis. My surgeon suggested not to remove the cyst but block the tube so that harmful liquid discharge does not reach the uterus.kindly suggest should i go 4 laparascopy to block tube.my right tube is patent.due to harmful discharge from left tube im unable to concieve.

Hi,
In the current scenario, I would ask you to get a second opinion. There is no such known treatment like blocking a fallopian tube to prevent the uterus from getting infected. In fact, tubal blocks are a common feature of endometriosis and need to be cleared in whatever way possible if conception is wished for. Also, if one tube is patent it is enough for conception to occur. Please consult an infertility specialist for further support. The more number of surgical procedures you undergo in endometriosis, the more is the likelihood of scars. Hope this helps.
