Should I Take My Daughter To ER As She Is Having Headache And Temperature?
My 12 year old daughter came home from ballet with a headache and a low grade temperature. I gave her some Advil @ 8:30 and put her to bed. She woke up about twenty mins ago with the same headache so I gave her more Advil and retook her temp which had spiked to 105. I immediately unwound her from her duvet and gave her a large glass of water and the temp has already come down to 104.5. I don't want to subject her to a trip to the er, but I'm wondering if I should...

it is advisabe to take to the ER, her blood count has to be done, urine for culture, blood for culture, dengue IgM antibody test.
in the mean while tepid sponging with lukewarm water in order to prevent her from getting seizures, and paracetamol
