Should I Take A CT Scan Sooner To Follow Up Chest Infection And Pneumonia?

I have had a recent CT scan that shows I have 2 lung nodules , one 13mm and one 26 x 13mm with ground glass opacity. I recently had a severe chest infection and pneumomia. I have been advised to have a follow up CT scan in 3 months. Is this wise or should I follow up sooner?

thanks for asking your question
I completely understand your issue
actually physician has requested for a followup ct to see the nodules , if they grow in size in next three months or they r stable or regressing.
followup ct scan to evaluate for lung nodules is a low dose ct after 3 months .
if your problem increases and symptoms doesnt regress then u need to visit a pulmonologist and evaluate for the cause
he may or may not order for a review ct scan.
dont panic
thanks / regards
feel free to ask more questions
may god bless you with good health
