Should I Meet A Doctor For Cough, Sore Throat, Chest Pain And Stomach Pain?

My question is. I been having a really bad couch since september 21st. My cough comes with a really really sore throat, chest pain and my stomach been hurting. When ever I sit or lay down I can t stop coughing real bad. But when ever I stand I don t cough that much. Do I need to see a doctor or should I wait this out?

hi and thanks for the query,
you may require an antibiotic, also a chest infection needs to be ruled out hence
i think you should visit the doctor.
till then you can do salt water garglikg 4 times daily and steam inhalation 4 times daily.
give your voice a rest for 5 days.
drink plenty of warm fluids and avoid cold foods.
regards,
dr rajkishori
