Should I Increase The Dose Of 'celexa' For Treating RBBB?

My 16 yr old is on celexa.
Dr wanted to increase but we had EKG first after I told her I'd had LGL
Her EKG show rbbb (rsr) and hr 56. Should I not let her increase the dose? We don't see pedi doc again for 3 weeks. I know celexa can cause prolong qt. but would u be concerned about rsr and being on celexa?

Hi,

Usually Celexa has no effects on RBBB or LGL syndrome. The common side effects of majority antidepressants are QT prolongation, but RBBB and LGL syndrome ( short PR) are different things and are not affected by such medications.
Incomplete RBBB is a common fining and is not considered as abnormality. But if your son has complete RBBB, I would advise you to undergo echocardiography.

Hope I could help you
