Diabetologist 's  Response
Dear your diabetes and hypertension is both at initial stage so you can help yourself by not developing complications. i would advise you need to add DPP4 inhibitors like sitagliptin or vildagliptin in your regime to save your pancreas and make your sugar levels appropriate. since ischemic heart disease is the one of the common complication of diabetes i would advise you should get your cholesterol levels and uric acid levels checked and for other co morbids and aspirin/clopidogrel should be added in your treatment regime to keep your blood thin. however you need to see cardiologist to get the status of your heart checked. you can go for exercise tolerance test or echocardiogram or thallium scan or if your cardiologist advise you can go for angiography.
thanks
regards
