Should I Be Worried About Taking Anesthesia?

I am curious about taking Superprep TWO hours before my procedure. I am equally concerned about the anesthesia which should ordinarily require I drink nothing nor eat nothing 12 hours prior to the procedure. I have an 11AM procedure time and feel that taking SuperPrep two hour prior is foolish. Perhaps I am not very well informed, but I am concerned.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
This is a common thing going for any surgical procedure.
There is always pre-operative procedure and it should be followed by every person.
This is because preventing any complication due to nausea, vomiting, aspiration after surgery.
If stomach is empty then there are no chances of having these problems.
Ok and take care.
