Should I Be Concerned About Pounding Feeling And Higher Heart Rate?

I'm 43. The doc put me on 25mg Losartan. I can feel my heart pounding in my chest sometimes when I'm resting, and my heart rate is in the mid 80s, where as it used to average in the 60s and 70s. Should I bee concerned about this pounding feeling and the higher heart rate?

Hello,i have gone through your question. Thanks for choosing HCM.As far as your heart rate is concerned mid 80s figure is not abnormal.Normal range is between 60 to 100 per minute.so please dont worry about rate.AS far as pounding in chest is concerned please get your ECG done to rule out extra systoles.
my best wishes.
