Should Birth Control Pills Be Continued During Periods?

I had sex on the 15th of December. The condom broke but I took the plan B test right away. I got my period 5 days later and now I m on birth control but do I really need to be on birth control if i got my period? I don t plan on having sex any time soon in the future. And if i dont, what will happen to my body if i stop using birth control.

it is not requered during period. should be stopped and again started on 4rth day of stopping period.
