Should Biopsy Be Done For Recurring Elevation In PSA Levels?

I have had two biopsy s on my prostate. an no cancer has been found. my PSA has been as high as 8. after putting me on cipro. my PSA comes down for about 6mounts then back up. my Dr. wants to do another biopsy. is there any thing else that can be done?

I really appreciate your concern, if you have not done the imaging study then it is advisable to get this done like CT of MRI or PET scan it is just to rule out the malignancy, these are the tests you can think it about, hope this information helps.
