Should Numlo AT Be Taken Twice A Week Again?

I have been taking numlo AT [amlodipin 2.5 mg atenolol 50 mg] since 2002 for B.P. For last two years i was taking amlopress AT [amlodipin 5 mg atenolol 50 mg] since bp was little on higher sideas i was residing on high altitude station 4000 metres above sea level .Recently when i returned to plain area and got my BP checked my BP was 90/67 . My family doctor advised me to take Numlo AT twice a week. Is it a good advice please suggest your opinion also

Hi, instead I would stop Amlodipine and take only atenolol daily. If the BP is still low then reduce atenolol to 25 mg a day--take it step by step on a daily basis and reduce gradually. 50 mg of Atenolol should not be stopped suddenly. It can lead to cardiac failure--regards
