Should I Worry For Endometrium Measuring 162cm And A Bulky Fibroid Uterus ?

I am 45 have a bulky uterus with mulitiple fibroids . one measures: 15 mm Endometrium thick measuring 1.62 cm should I be worried?

Welcome to healthcaremagic.com.Normal endometrial thickness for a menstruating woman is, on average, 10 millimeters (1 centimeter). This can fluctuate in either direction depending at what point the patient is in of her cycle. For example, at pre-ovulation, it's around 5 mm (.5 cm) or so; post-ovulation, it's anywhere from 6-15 mm (.5cm +/- to 1.5cm) or greater.Only biopsy of endometrium can tell if it is simple hyperplasia of endometrium or otherwise.Take care.
