Should I Take My Child To ER If She Has Mistakenly Consumed Advil?

My daughter got into Advil this morning 200mg it's been about 14 hours since taking it. I don't even know if she swallowed one or not. My husband caught her pretty much right away and took it out of her mouth. It was a small travail container that could only hold 10 oval advil sat a time and I had use some in the past and don't know how many was left we counted at least four on the floor when we caught her With them. Should I have taken her to the er?? She seemed fine playing and eating normal. Even went to bed normal but now she coughing and I'm not sure if it's from maybe swallowing advil or if she's just stuffed up from the heat in the house.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hello. Thank you for your question. Advil remains in the body for 6 hours before it wears off. The fact that it's been 14 hours means that there is no longer any Advil in her system. So it either had no effect at all, or she didn't ingest as many as we suspect. In any case she is fine. In the future, if you are concerned about an ingestion, you should call your local poison control for advice.
