Lamotrigine is also a mood stabilizer besides being an antiepileptic. In fact, it is among the first line medicines for treating Bipolar Disorder specially in depressive phase.

Topamax is used in cases of Migraine, as an antiepileptic and some doctors may also use it as an add on medicine for treating Bipolar disorder or occasionally in cases of Borderline personality disorder.

Ciprolex is an antidepressant used for treating depressive symptoms.

So, there is nothing much unusual about your medicines in my view.

hello.. u have been diagnosed as bipolar disorder with comorbid borderline personality disorder. u are receiving topamax, lamotrigine ans ciprolex.

briefly i will comment that u are receiving three meds, i feel that u does not rquire topamax, instead u shud continue lamotrigine and increase the dosage upto 200mg a day gradually ... it will cover both your bipolarity and symptoms of borderline personality. continue taking the ciprolex 20 mg a day.

lamotrigine is also FDA approved for bipolar depression and its quite effective. topamax is given as a add on drug for epilepsy. it can also be use for weight reduction and migraine prophylaxis.

ciprolex is antidepressant which will elevate your mood and lamotrigine wont allow it to go towards euphoria.

it can be used for epilepsy and migraine but dose are different

these medicines will help you to control the symptoms
so no need to worry
continue to take and consult regularly to doctor
