Should I Take Doxazosin For Slow Urine Flow And Also Tamsulosin And Finasteride Prescribed Earlier ?

I just started Doxazosin for slow urine flow; I also take Tamsulosin which they started me on first, then a urology clinic put me on finasteride. The doctor that just put me on the doxazosin said to take all of these together...I also take valsartan for blood pressure. I get light headed drivivg and just standing which I will tell her tomorrow. My question is should I be taking all these since they all affect BP? Never hurts to get a second oppinion

Hello
Thanks for the query to HCM Forum.
Doxazocin, tamsulosin, finasteride all these drugs used in Benign prostatic Hyperplasia ( enlargement of prostate ) . The main side effect of tamsulosin is as it develops orthostatic hypotension.
As you mentioned that you are already taking anti hypertensive medicine ( valsartan ) , so further decrease in blood pressure.
In my opinion consult one more urologist and get his opinion.
Good luck.
