Should I Discontinue Vyvanse Taken To Control Bulimia?

I find Vyvanse to be exceptionally spectacular in controlling my bulimia/binging and other typical ADHD symptoms. My new Dr, who is very anti medication, won t prescribe it as he said that my tests for ADHD, which were merely clicking a button on hearing a sound, we re not conclusive......? Surely this is ridiculous. My life is in ruins now

I understand that you are going through a difficult time due to your problems. Regarding Vyvanse, it is not a liscenced or proven effective medication for the treatment of Bulimia or any other eating disorders.

In adults there are specific guidelines regarding its use for individuals with ADHD and the usage is usually limited to severe cases. If you are unable to manage your symptoms, I would suggest that you review with your doctor and let him know your difficulties so that he can advise you appropriate management.
