Should I Be Worried For The Albumin Level In The Urine Having Diagnosed For UTI And Taking Antibiotics?

Hi! I was diagnose with UTI. my result was 6-8 pus cell and +++ bacteria. What alarmed me is the my albumin level with is ++ I am taking not a coarse of antibiotic for three days and have asked me to repeat Urinalysis after 3 days. Im drinking a lot of water now, and on my first day of antibiotic. should I be alarmed?

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

Presence of albumin in urine need to be further evaluated.
Common causes are:
1. indicator of subclinical cardiovascular disease
2.marker of vascular endothelial dysfunction
3.an important prognostic marker for kidney disease
in diabetes mellitus
in hypertension
in post-streptococcal glomerulonephritis

Consult doctor for further examination and management.
