Should I Be Worried About Rapid Heart Rate?

ok, I'll give it a go. My wife age 54 starting taking Cipro (1 does) for UTI after two day flu like symptoms that went away then the UTI started. Somewhat dehydrated after no food all weekend but ate some today, drank gatorade. Now she has a rapid heart rate 120 and BP 93/77. She is a petite person. Asthmatic and many has taken two of 6 rounds of a biologic for osteoporosis. Is the heart rate a concern?

Welcome to HCM.
More than 100 heart rate is called tachycardia.
Heart rate increases in the infection but 120 heart rate should be ruled out properly.Continue your current medicines for uti.
It is better to go for ECG,ECHO under guidance of cardiologist for further diagnosis and better management.
