Should I Be Worried About High Body Temperature In Child?

My 5 year old son has had extremely hot skin (to the touch) for the past week. His temperature on one of those days was 38 but other than that has been normal. He seems ok in himself although pretty tired, which is unusual for him. Should I take him to see a doctor?

38 degree is fever and if continues you must see a doctor. High temperature for many days in child can not be set aside and need to be investigated including blood smear.
