Should I Be Worried About A Cut Between Toes?

I just noticed like, 20 minutes ago that i have a paper-cut like cut in between my left big and middle toe. No other sores or itching or anything on any other toe. Is it just that? A cut, and i can put vasciline or peroxide and a bandaid on it and it ll go away? Or is it more serious?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

It might be just a cut. Especially if some injury were in this area recently. Such can can be also a symptom of fungal infection. Due to dry skin caused by such infection, such cracks can appear spontaneously.
I suggest you to wash it gently with water and soap. You can put a bandaid, however it may delay healing. If you will see that the cut does not heal property, consult a dermatologist.

Hope this will help.
Regards.
