Should I Be Concerned If My Yolk Sac Is Not Visible At 5.2 Weeks?
I just had my first pregnancy ultrasound this morning. I am 5w2d according to my LMP. They were able to see the gestational sac but not a yolk sac or fetal pole. I have had 2 early miscarriages this past year, both ending before 6 weeks. I am concerned that this may end the same way. My HCG levels have been doubling every 2 days and were at 5,000 as of yesterday. Should I be concerned that they did not see a yolk sac?

Fetal pole should have been visualized by this gestational age.
You need follow up scan after 10 days.
If fetal pole is still not visualized in follow up scan then it may indicate missed abortion.It is good that HCG levels are doubling every 2 days.
So,you should wait till next USG.
