Should I Be Concerned About The High Fever During Pregnancy?

Hi I am 23 year old and 12 week pregnant. I had high fever 37.8 deg Cen, visited GP and they prescribed Paracetamol which I took for 2 days and now I am feeling better and no temperature. I get little (along with mucus) from nose occationally. I am just worried from statements that pregnant ladies should not get fever, can you please advice if I need to be concerned here? Thanks

Thanks for asking Healthcaremagic. Fever in pregnacy can be a cause for concern if it is continued for a long time. If you are not having fever now its okay and you dont need to panic. You should have plenty of fluids and take rest. Take fruits rich in vitamin c. Avoid any other medicine not prescribed by your doctor. i hope this helps. If you have any other queries/question please feel free to ask. Thanks and wish you a healthy pregnancy.
