Shooting Chest Pain, Tired, Cold And Chills. Visit Doctor? Serious?

My mom is had some shooting pain last night in her chest she could not lay down because the pain would increase so she fell asleep sitting down this morning she feels extremely tired and cold, she's also getting the chills a lot but has no fever she also has a big headache and refuses to go to the doctor. Could it be serious?

Could be serious. She needs to have a chest x-ray done and blood work. She should really be seen by an MD. She could go to the ER or Urgent Care to see what they think.
