Sharp Pelvic Pain, Delayed Period, Faint Positive HPT. What Could This Be?

HI, I AM HAVING VERY SHARP LEFT PELVIC PAIN AND I AM ABOUT 14 DAYS LATE ON MY PERIOD. I TOOK HPTS ALL BUT ONE CAME OUT NEGATIVE. THE ONE THAT WAS POSITIVE WAS VERY FAINT. THIS PAIN DOES NOT LEAVE I HAVE HAD IT FOR ABOUT 4 DAYS AND IT GETS VERY SHARP THEN BACK TO THE REGULAR PAIN THEN A WHILE LATE VERY SHARP AGAIN, I HAVE AN APPT WITH A GYN IN 5 DAYS. WHAT COULD THIS BE?

Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
You should consult a gynaecologist immediately because these symptoms may be because of ectopic pregnancy also.
If ectopic pregnancy is there you need immediate surgery.
