Sharp Pains Originating From Right Breast. Pain In Shoulder Blades. Use Of Nsaids Has No Effect. What Next?

I have been having sharp pains originating deep in my core behind my right breast for several days. Sometimes the pain goes across inside me between my shoulder blades. The first couple days I could not reach forward at all without severe pain. Now if i reach forward or to the side the pain increases. Use of nsaids has no effect.

Hi and thanks for the query;
The pain you describe needs a careful review.It is possible that this hould be what is called Trietz syndrome: This pain is concentrated mainly at the junctions between the sternum and the ribs. Treatment usually involves mainly steroids. Other causes should however be considered like heart disease;and neuronal disease. A proper diagnosis deserves a keen physical exam. An X ray of the chest and an EKG could be useful at some point. Thanks and kind regards.
