Sharp Pains In Chest And Severe Shortness Of Breath After Heart Surgery. How To Overcome This ?

hello, I am AAAAA,age 63,i have had open heart,2heart attacks after the open heart, corataid surgery on my left artery,at that time they severed my vocal cord and 3months later I had a cadabra part put in my neck to help me to speak better, that was 4years ago and of course I do not sue folks who are trying to help all of us,however I am having very sharp pains in my chect and severe shortness of breath, this has happened before, sometimes it puts me in the bed for days like right now. I have been to specialists from north Carolina to fla.no one can help me get better, also when I take a bath I alwys empty my bladder just before I get into the bathtub but still I start to urinate some in the water and have to empty and scrub the tub and get back in,this happens almost every single night. thanks for listening

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

There appear to be two different issues –

See your cardiologist – you may need TMT (Treadmill exercise ECG) - may be with thallium isotope, to evaluate ischemia (reduced blood flow) – from block in the stent or narrowing of native vessels. Of course, angiography is the gold standard... and may at times be necessary...

Regarding urine – it is probably from Prostate?. You should consult Urologist.

Your GP can correlate and suggest them depending on need, based on his assessment of the situation.

Take care
God bless
Good luck
