Hello and welcome to HCM.
Thank you for your query.
The symptoms you are experiencing could indeed be due to a
urinary tract infection (UTI), but this will have to be confirmed by laboratory investigations.
Dehydration or consuming less amount of water can lead to a number of problems. Including
kidney stones, etc. which can lead to recurrent UTI's (just for your information).
Now, my advise would be to visit a doctor and get a urine analysis done, which will help guide us towards suspecting a UTI, and accordingly advise antibiotic therapy for you.
In the meantime, please make it a habit to consume plenty of water, and also add cranberry juice to your regimen which has proved to have added benefits in relieving symptoms of a UTI.
I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications. I would gladly help you.
Best wishes.
