Sharp Pain In The Neck. On Ibuprofen. What Is Causing This?

I have been experiencing sharp pain in the back of my head/ neck on the right side. It happens when I sit, or stand, and when I m sleeping. I don t have headaches anywhere else unless it s related to sinus . But it is uncomfortable and pretty sharp when it happens. Lasts for several minutes and sometimes I have to take ibuprophen to get relief.
