General & Family Physician, Dr. Raju A.T's Response
Hi,
Welcome to Healthcaremagic.
The common causes for such painless rash could be herpes.
Any lesion due to trauma is painful.
I suggest you to get him examined by a general physician to
confirm the diagnosis and place him on treatment.
Wish you good health.
Regards
