Severe Vomiting After Excessive Alcohol Intake. Feeling Dizzy. Hangover?

Hi, I drank too much last night. Not really an amount that would normally make me sick though. Since I woke p this morning I haven t been able to stop vomiting , I can t keep any food or liquid down, including water, and I can t get out of bed without feeling so dizzy like I will faint. Is it just a hangover or could it be something else? Thank you.

Hi spodenshannon

your symptoms seems to be of alcohol induced gastritis.
because you are not tolerating even water, you need parenteral proton pump inhibitor, anti emetic and may need intraveinous fluid if feeling dehydrated. Because alcohol makes deficiency of vit B1, you may need im injection of this also.
get to your family physician soon.

best wishes for your health
