Severe vaginal bleeding post child birth. Uterus removed, swelling in right leg and arm. Kidney condition?

my daughter gave birth to a baby girl on friday through cs after which she had serious bleeding problem, she was taken back into the theater for a second surgery and her uterous ( womb ) was removed but after that she started having swellings on her right leg and alms, and I was told that she has a kidney problem. What could have been the problem?

It appears that your daughter has developed Acute Kidney Injury on account of massive blood-loss.She will require specialised care under supervision of Nephrologist for that.From the information provided she may or may not require dialysis as the same will be decided by the Nephrologist.
