Severe Stomach Pains, Breathing Difficulty, Not On Periods. Cause And Cure?

hi there, i just woke up from a deep sleep with very bad stomach pains. Like on the scale from 1-10 i say a 10, i was is so much pain i wasnt able to breath properly or move. I am not on my period and i ve never had a bad stomach ach with a period in my life. I am a 22yrd old mother of one... what can it be, should i go to a walk-in?

Hi,

A sudden onset of acute pain abdomen needs immediate medical attention. There are many conditions that present with acute onset pain abdomen. Commonest being Acute appendicitis, pancreatitis, cholecystitis, urinary calculi.

It is wise to do a thorough ultrasound scan of the whole abdomen at this point.

Yes, you should go to a walk-in.
