Severe Sore Throat, Ear Pain. No Relief With Advil. How To Get Relief?

I have the worst sore throat and I can t take it anymore. My doctor said take advil for now and that is not helping anymore. I have energy so I don t think it s mono like she thought it might be. I just can t take the pain anymore. I have also been burping a lot which is odd. I feel like there are air bubbles in my chest until i burp them up. This is not nearly as annoying as the throat. Also my ears hurt a bit. I can t sleep because of the throat

may be you are suffering from acute pharyngitis.you take plenty of warm oral liquid like tea,coffee, soup,hot water and gurgle with hot water. you can take paracetamol 1 gm 8 hourly for the pain.if these measures dont work then consult with a physician.
