Severe Pressure In Abdomen Under Rib Cage With Pulsing, Pain In Right Side On Passing Stools. US Normal. Any Ideas?
I have for a year now pressure that builds up to intensity in the upper right abdomen under the rib cage close to my mid section. Sometimes I can feel contactions or pulsing. I get a burning afterwards. I am having a Ct scan in January. My ultra sound was normal. When I bend at the waist I feel as if there is a mass that gets trapped under my ribs and the only way to get relief is streach my arms upward. With my last bowel movement I had the horrible pain on the right side. I am just waiting for the CT scan. Also if I am allergic to iodine will I reacted to the iodine via IV? YYYY@YYYY

The over all history of yours is suggestive of some nonspecific type of pain and in such complaint it is bit difficult to find out the exact cause, it is really something to take with your tense mental condition because such tense condition always makes the muscles tense too and in your case this is just likely I would advise you to try muscle relaxant and "Chlorzoxazone" is choice of drug have it along with the Acetaminophen will give good result, and lets wait for CT report have nice day.
